Part-Time Professor of Liturgical Practice and Sacramental Theology

San Antonio, TX

The candidate should be a Roman Catholic priest in good standing, with a firm commitment to
the Catholic sacramental and liturgical tradition, who is both attentive and responsive to the
complex cultural and pastoral challenges confronting the Church as it proclaims the gospel. A
robust research agenda in any of the sub-specializations of liturgical and sacramental theology is
welcome. The ideal candidate will be closely attentive to the diverse pastoral and liturgical needs
of the Church and will be prepared to teach a sequence of masters-level courses in Eucharist and
Sacraments of Healing, including relevant MDIV presiding practica.

The position is part-time with the possibility of becoming full-time or affiliated in the future. Doctorate in Theology
or a related discipline is required. Position open until filled.

Assistant Chaplain-Liturgy

Serve as a member of the liturgy team assisting with planning, preparation, and student liturgical minister formation. Coordinate chaplains’ outreach to Latinx students, faculty and staff. Coordinate marriage preparation. Some retreat work. Reports to associate director.
