The Nathan D. Mitchell Excellence in Liturgical Studies fund was established in 2025 to commemorate Nathan D. Mitchell, a long time member of the North American Academy of Liturgy and 1998 Berakah Award winner, who taught so many of us, directly and indirectly, about the craft and the art and most of all the love of liturgical studies. The Academy thanks the family and friends of Nathan Mitchell, especially Demetrio Yocum, for this award.
