Ms. Chung joined SOAAR in 2017 after teaching English literature and composition for Chicago Public Schools. Ms. Chung provides support to the team by serving as the primary contact and coordinator of all events. Her tasks include writing monthly newsletters, producing content for social media, assisting with budgets, preparing contracted invoices, research expenses, creating presentations and organizing all team related arrangements.

Ms. Chung believes in the power research and education.  Through this belief, she is a licensed teacher in the State of Illinois and she received her Bachelor of Arts at Illinois State University in Secondary English Education and endorsed in TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages).
