Joseph Keenan, FSC

Joseph Keenan, FSC died on February 27, 1999.

Joe taught religion at La Salle University for thirty years and founded the Japanese Tea Ceremony House on the campus in 1987. He studied tea at the Urasenke school in Kyoto, Japan, in the academic year 1990-1991, on a fellowship from that school, and he presented a paper, "Liturgical Spirituality and the Japanese Tea Ceremony" at the Academy in 1993.

He died at the age of 68 on February 27, 1999, shortly after being hit by a car just outside his home community.
